Meet Kim Yong Ho, a remarkable special class disabled soldier from People’s Neighborhood Unit 42, Jangchung 2-Dong, Songyo District, Pyongyang. At the 13th graduation ceremony of the Tele-education Department at Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, he proudly received his diploma, earning heartfelt congratulations from the community.

Despite facing challenges as a paraplegic due to an unforeseen incident during his military service, Kim Yong Ho’s determination never wavered. With the unwavering support and guidance from university officials and teachers, he delved into electrical engineering and machinery.

Thanks to the university’s tele-education system, Kim Yong Ho had the opportunity to further his studies in science and technology. Throughout his academic journey, he faced multiple hospitalizations, but his department’s teachers consistently visited him with thoughtful tonics they personally prepared, encouraging his perseverance and dedication.
