Premier Pak Pong Ju inspected the Songhyon Co-op Farm in Onchon County and the Phungjong Co-op Farm in Jungsan County to learn about the prevention of drought damage and the immediate farming.
Consultative meetings were convened on the spots. The meetings discussed measures to thoroughly prevent damage by drought and violent rain and wind.
They, at the same time, underscored the need to give full play to the advantages of the field-responsibility-system under the subworkteam management system, employ the scientific farming method in tideland-turned farm land and positively invent and introduce effective farm machines.
