Foreign embassy officials in charge of cultural and friendly ties here Thursday visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung in the run-up to his birth anniversary.

They toured the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum where historic mementoes associated with the revolutionary activities of the President and his family members are on display.

At his old home they looked round the historic relics, being briefed on the fact that he was born at a thatched house and nurtured his noble patriotism and great revolutionary intention.
