The Pyongyang Film Technical Company in the DPRK has recently made the monochrome multi-part feature film “Unknown Heroes” (20 parts) into the color film.

The film, created from the late 1970s to the early 1980s, deals with the heroic feats performed by agents who made a contribution to the DPRK’s victory in the Fatherland Liberation War (June 1950-July 1953).

Up to now, six parts of the film were reproduced.

The company developed a program bettering pictures and hastening the speed of coloring. After watching the reproduced film, people are unanimous in saying that it seems a new film.
