The 31st national festival of science and technology opened at the Sci-Tech Complex on Monday. Present at the opening ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Tok Hun, vice-premier, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned and other people.
The 31st National Festival of Science and Technology will be divided into more than 30 panels under the theme of the development of the latest technology and integration of science, technology and economy.
There will be the display and presentation of scientific and technological achievements and services for the exchange of new technology and new goods. Attending the festival are scientists, technicians, three-revolution team members and workers of commissions, ministries, national institutions, universities and over 300 units who were selected at provincial (municipal) scientific and technological festivals.
