Floral tributes were paid to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il by service personnel, working people, school youth and children on the occasion of the 72nd founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

Seen before the statues on Mansu Hill was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Un, chairman of the WPK, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army.

Placed before the statues were floral baskets in the names of the party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, and institutions and industrial establishments and schools here, and bouquets and flowers.

Also placed before the statues was a floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

The participants paid tribute to the great leaders.

The statues of the great leaders at Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces, the Ministry of People’s Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and other places of Pyongyang were visited by an endless stream of people.

Service personnel, working people and school youth and childdren across the country also visited the statues and portraits of smiling great leaders in their residential areas to pay homage to them.
