DPRK Premier Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, made a field survey of the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex.

Going round various places of the complex, he encouraged the workers bringing about a surge in production.

A consultative meeting held on spot stressed the need to meticulously carry out equipment and technical management and took measures for relevant units to ensure the timely supply of raw and other materials needed for production.

The premier also went round the Sungri Motor Complex and the Hyongbong Coal Mine and the Sochang Youth Coal Mine of the Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex, where he discussed the issues arising in expanding the existent production capacity and producing coal.
