Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers’ Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, inspected Pudok and Kosan co-op farms in Jaeryong County, South Hwanghae Province, to acquaint himself with drought damage.

Making field survey of the farms, he encouraged the officials and agricultural workers in their dynamic campaign to surmount the worst-ever drought.

He stressed the need for the party organizations and working people’s orgnizations in the county to intensify the ideological education for arousing Party members and other working people to the campaign against drought damage.

He also called for using all irrigation equipment and vehicles and making effective use of wells and water holes.
