The 22nd Cooking Festival took place at the Pyongyang Noodle House on April 4-7.

Presented to it were more than 1 600 dishes and drinks made by those in the public service field across the country and over 70 scientific and technical achievements. The festival was attended by at least 80 units of ministries and national institutions, Pyongyang and all provinces.

It was divided into the exhibition of famous dishes and local specialties, exhibition of compulsory dishes, exhibition of loach dishes, exhibition of scientific and technical achievements in cooking and the contest of practical skills and demonstration of cooks and waiters and waitresses and cooking skills of students whose major is culinary art.
